We left Sturbridge on Monday morning and made our way toward Boston.  Our flight didn’t leave until 9 pm on Monday night so we had all day to kill.  First stop was Worcester to check out the antiques.  Julie found a camera for her collection.  Then we headed toward Concord and Lexington.  These historic towns were the sites of the first battles of the Revolutionary War.  We found some antique shops in Concord and walked around the town a bit.  I picked up some bakelite bangles and a very interesting key chain (check out my Instagram for video) in Concord.  Julie found some antique photos. We went to Sleepy Hollow Cemetery where Nathaniel Hawthorne is buried along with Louisa May Alcott, Henry David Thoreau and Ralph Waldo Emerson.  They are buried on “Author’s Ridge”.  I just love an old cemetery!

And that wraps up my posts on the New England Shake Up!  It was so nice to finally see the East coast.  We had a great time.  We enjoyed the music, the company, the location and thank you Beck Rustic for working your ass off!

Now the countdown for Viva Las Vegas begins!
